Generating "Vibration"

For the production of dry-cast concrete products, vibration is required for consolidation of the concrete. Traditionally, the required vibration has been obtained by placing the molds on a vibration table, of which many sizes and types of variable quality are available on the market. To enable concrete producers to fully control the vibration, we focused on developing an improved range of vibration tables with a vibrator generating unidirectional (vertical) vibration, where the vibration frequency and amplitude are infinitely adjustable, and the molds are securely attached to the vibration table by means of hydraulically activated mold clamps.

Vibration Tables

Teksam produces a range of vibration tables based on three standard geometries:

VUX System

In the early 1980's, we were the first supplier of vibration technology to introduce the X-shape type of vibration tables. The main advantages of the X-shaped vibration tables are the increased rigidity of the main structure obtained without increasing the weight, which ensures an optimized and equalized transfer of vibration into the concrete.

The X-shaped types were initially designed and engineered for the production of round and square products for which they made a perfect mold support. For the production of concrete products like Manhole Components, Catch Basins and Pipes, the X-shape vibration tables have proven to be highly efficient. Today, the X-shape vibration tabels are being used for the production of a large variety of concrete products.

We offer 5 sizes of X-shape vibration units, capable of producing concrete products up to 3 meter in diameter.

VUB System

After successfully introducing the X-shape vibration tables to the market, our attention was directed towards the development of vibration tables suitable for the production of concrete products that are long and narrow, such as U-channels, Road Barriers, Retaining Walls, Panels, Hog and Cattle Slats etc. For these types of products, we introduced the B-shape vibration tables. Again, the focus was on engineering low weight and very rigid vibration tables, and ensuring an optimized support and locking of the molds to the vibration units in order to establish an efficient transfer of the vibration into the concrete.

Today we market 5 standardized models of B-shape vibration units, and have supplied a large number of customized vibration tables for the production of concrete products weighing up to 35 ton.

VUBX System

As the marketplace evolved, we recieved more requests for production flexibility so that multiple product geometries could be produced on the same vibration table. This resulted in the development of the BX-shaped vibration table that combines the advantages provided by both the X-shaped and the B-shaped types. The BX-shaped vibration tables are the most versatile on the market.

The BX-shaped vibration tables are customized to meet specific customer requirements for the production of concrete products with a weight up to 15 ton.
